Join us for the 59th Annual CMC-South Mathematics Conference in Palm Springs. Choose from more than 300 sessions offered by top mathematics educators from California and the United States. Feel empowered to help your students in their mathematical journey, including English language learners, under-represented students and students with special needs.  Attend sessions geared towards our College and Career Readiness Standards, Mathematics Equity and Excellence, STEM, as well as  Coaching/Mathematics Leadership. Get tips to implement the Eight Standards for Mathematical Practice in your classroom. Learn innovative teaching strategies from the best mathematics leaders.

Conference Program
Access the online conference program, using ERMobile from your app store, for the most up-to-date and complete information about speakers, sessions, registration and conference details for 2018.  You will need your email address and registration number to open it.  In addition to the updated information you can access any speaker materials uploaded, evaluate sessions and evaluate the conference.  Please do the evaluations as this gives us valuable information as we plan for 2019.

Information you need to know BEFORE registration: 
If you are a CMC Member with a current or expired membership, your conference registration will renew your membership for the upcoming year. 
When you register you will be asked to provide your preferred email address. Each person is identified in our database using a unique email address. If you have never been a member of CMC, you will be sent membership information after the conference. 
Your registration badge will be mailed to you. Make sure you bring the badge with you to the conference. 
You must register by October 2, 2018, to receive your badge in the mail
If you register after October 2 you will pick up your badge at the conference.
There will be a $5 charge for reprints.

Registration Information

Friday/Saturday Two-Day Registration 
The full two-day registration fee for individuals who register after October 2, 2018, is $245.


Preregistration closes October 20, 2018
After October 2, the cost is $245

•  Early Bird Registration concludes September 8, 2018:  $195
•  Register by October 2, 2018  $220 (discount of $25)
•  Register after October 2, 2018, and pay $245.

Saturday-only Fee
The onsite Saturday-only fee is $170.
•  Register online by September 8, 2018.  Fee: $140
•  Register online by October 2, 2018.  Fee:  $155

Student Registration
•  Friday and Saturday registration fee is $105 if registered and payment received by October 2, 2018, or $115 after October 2, 2018.
•  Saturday-only registration fee is $90 if registration and payment received by October 2, 2018, or $100 after October 2, 2018.

Thursday Pre-Session
Space is limited. Register early.
Additional Cost to attend the pre-session:  $50


Friday Leadership Luncheon 
Cost: $40.00 for the luncheon and Guest Speaker

Saturday Affiliate Luncheon
Cost: $30.00 for luncheon
Enjoy lunch and meet other educators from your local area.

Cancellation Policy
All but $75 of the registration fee is refundable if requested in writing by October 20, 2018. Meal tickets and Affiliate Dues are not refundable.

Watch math educators light up the room with fresh ideas in teaching and learning. Each speaker gets five minutes, using 20 slides that auto advance every 15 seconds whether they’re ready or not.

College Credit

Earn credit for attending the conference!
Attend 10 (ten) hours of the conference, complete a written assignment, and earn 1 (one) quarter unit from UC Riverside Extension. Stop by the College Credit booth for detailed information and or contact course instructor, Judi Synder-Gordon at cmc.cc.ucr@gmail.com.
